Assignment #2

The piece of writing that really means alot is a poem that my mom wrote when she was in highschool. In my last relationship in 8th grade I related to it alot and actually just yesterday I re read it and I could relate all my problems that I've been having to it, which was amazing because I really needed that.

I am nobody
but I need somebody
to help me
care
drifting
someplace
where?

Silently drowning in
a sea of hidden
mirth and apathy
why?

Trying to reach out
so alone
never quite enough
waiting, waiting
for the end.

Hmm... stress... I try to get rid of by either listening to music or watching some mind-numbing television. Sometimes I watch youtube videos. But i think the most effective way to get rid of stress, at least for me, is to exercise. I know that sounds lame, but seriously. if you go for a long run or something, you release endorphins, which can elevate your mood!
